The hose cassette from SAFEREEL was developed based on a need that arose in connection with bunkering fresh water for maritime traffic at the port of Esbjerg. Here, there are often long distances between hydrants, and ships are not always assigned a berth near a hydrant.

So to make the workflow both easier and more ergonomically appropriate when handling and unrolling several hundred meters of lay flat 2" hose daily, the hose cassette was developed and gradually adapted to our needs.

The cassette has been in the works for 2 years, and has thus been thoroughly tested in all conceivable conditions. Be it from hydrant to walkway, from hydrant to onboard ships, around ships and oilrigs, narrow walkways, up and down stairs, etc. All the while always having one hand free for railings and handrails.

In virtually all conceivable conditions where there is a need to have a lay flat 2" hose rolled out efficiently and ergonomically correctly, the hose cassette from SAFEREEL is the right tool for the task.

The hose cassette from SAFEREEL is patented in Denmark during the development process, patent pending internationally, and design is registered  within the EU.
